Simple Remote Control Light Using CD4017 IC & TSOP1738 IR Sensor By Technoesolution | #electronicsprojects
Description
Hello, we are going to make a "Remote control light switch" to control home appliances using any remote like DVD, TV, Sound system, etc.
Here, is a simple circuit of "Remote control light switch" which can control your lamp or fan or any other home appliances. In the Remote control light switch, I'm using a TSOP1738 IR sensor and CD4017 decade counter IC, and one relay to control home appliances. When you push any button of remote the IR rays generated by TV remote get captured by TSOP1738 IR receiver and it triggers the relay and load across relay get to activate. It can be operated up to 10 meters in distance.
The remote control light switch is compact in the circuit there are indications is provided for light is on/off by using Red and Green Led, The Red LED indicates the load is off and Green LED indicates the load is off. The Remote control light switch works on the 5v - 9V DC supply. You can connect a 9V battery as a power source to a circuit otherwise you can connect a 5V adapter to a circuit. I built a Remote control light switch on zero PCB, But provide the PCB layout of this project below you can make the PCB of this project and makes your life easier.
Warning:- Take Care while connecting AC load to relay after connecting load to relay insulate it using varnish or Nail paint.
